At Everlasting Victory Church "victory in prayer" means approaching God with faith to receive His promised victory, not to create it, relying on Jesus Christ as the source of triumph. Through prayer, believers are equipped to fight spiritual battles, stand against the enemy, and overcome challenges in life by claiming God's authority and promises, leading to spiritual triumph and a deeper understanding of His power.  

Victory comes from God through Jesus Christ, and prayer is the means by which we claim and enforce that already-secured victory.  

 Prayer equips believers to engage in spiritual battles against unseen forces, using God's Word as a "weapon" to pull down strongholds and bring thoughts into obedience to Christ.  

 It is through prayer that God's will is enacted on earth, empowering believers to exercise His authority and advance His kingdom.  

 Maintaining a persistent life of prayer is essential, as consistent prayer is seen as a key to experiencing victory in various aspects of life.  

1. Believe God's Promises: Base your prayers on biblical promises of victory, such as Psalm 20 or Deuteronomy 28:7, to establish a foundation of faith.
2. Fight from Victory: Understand that you do not fight for victory but from the position of victory already won through Christ.
3. Claim Authority in Jesus' Name: Pray with authority, in the name of Jesus, acknowledging His victory over the enemy and His power in your life.
4. Align with God's Will: Pray for God's kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth, understanding that this is the ultimate victory God is working toward.
5. Stand Firm: Just as David faced Goliath, recognize your enemies as God's enemies and trust God to give you victory over them, even when faced with immense pressure.
